How do you change your political party?

This sounds silly, I should be old enough to know. But when I registered when I was 18, I picked my party because of what my parents were, because I didn't know a difference.

I took a class when I was in college, and a very wise professor explained to us the G'Ment, and what the beliefs were. I found out my beliefs are in a different party then I registered for. How do I change my party on my reservation?

TYIA!How do you change your political party?
Go to: http://votesmart.org/index.htmHow do you change your political party?
I think you can go to your court house and talk to the registrar (sp) of voting?
the same way you registered originally, at a registration location, or get a registration form from a local government office and mail it in
When you go to voting booth choose the party that you want to vote for and not the one you don't want to vote for.
I'd make it conservative and proud to be.
Go and re register at the court house or where ever you did before.
Assuming that you live in a state which has voter registration by party -- not all of them do -- I'd say that you'll have to contact the election officials in that state to find out. And the only way the issue of party registration is pertinent is if your state allows you to vote in a primary election only if you are registered with the party. In the general election, it doesn't matter which party you register with because you can vote for whomever.
Go back to wherever you registered the first time, and if you registered at a desk in the mall or wherever, go to your county clerk or registrar of voters [each county has its own central spot for this sort of thing]. They will have your original registration on file already, just tell them you want to change your party registration. No problem--and congratulations on being that rarest of all critters, an Involved Citizen!
Go to where you registered to vote.

Do not put this off if you plan to vote in a Primary. Many places have deadlines to register to be eligible to vote in Primaries, and they are often much longer than in general elections.
Fill out a new voter registration form and mark the party you'd like to change to.

  • How am I suppose to give change out from a cash register?

    Customers give me coins after I put in the amount and I'm looking like a retard. For example, amount is $3.73 and they give me $20.03 like how much money am I suppose to give back? P.S. It's my first job. How am I suppose to give change out from a cash register?
    Just add that to the change figure shown on the register, and you're good to go! Remember that the reason people do that in the first place is to make their change come out more evenly...How am I suppose to give change out from a cash register?
    Im pretty slow at basic math myself so I would suggest getting youself a little handheld calculator that you can keep in your pocket or at your register for such things. You can get a cheap one at stores like the Dollar Tree for a buck.
    Wow. Hey, you should glare at the customer good and long for doin that crap to you. Be like, ooooohh you had to give me the 3 friggin cents huh?! well here's your change BUDDY! and give them 16.27 back.. the real change for gettin a 20. None of this give you 20 bucks plus 3 pennies crap!!
    Keep a calculator by your register. In that case that would customer would receive 16.30 (20.03-3.73) using the calculator. Many people like even change so I would have a calculator most definitely.
    Its simple math! To be a cashier, all you need to do is count to 100. Can't do that? Instead of counting back 27 cents, isn't giving back a quarter and a nickel much easier?

    If you type that they gave you $20 and they hand you another 3 cents, you can't add 3 cents to the $16.27 that is showing on the register?
    This is a great question really. Because I had to be trained to get this right. Two methods:

    1) The newer cash registers give one the ability to enter in 20.03 as the amount tendered into the cash register. Then the register calculates the change, and you count that to the customer as you give it to them. And talk as you do this, ';here is ten, fifteen, sixteen dollars and thirty cents.';

    2) Before cash registers were computerized we had to count to ourselves to pull the change out. Then we had to count it back, out loud, as we give the customer their change. I do the change first so that if I have to carry the one, I know before I get to the bills. Ignore, for a moment, the dollars and realize that you need 30 cents to get to 03. Count to your self 30 + 73 gets me to 03, carry a one. That one brings me to 4 (4 dollars, now I am into the bills). 20 - 4 = 16. Pull out the 16 dollars into your hand. You already have 30 cents ready. Then count back as you place their money into their hands. Start with the purchase price. Say ';three-seventy-three'; pass them the 30 cents and say ';four-oh-three'; then hand them the one dollar bill and say ';five-oh-three'; then hand them the five and say ';ten-oh-three'; and lastly hand them their ten and say ';twenty-oh-three.'; ';Thank you and have a nice day.';

    You will look very sharp doing that. Practice at home. And always remember that you can ask this of the manager. That would be better than having a short drawar (or an overage). After some practice, the same math comes up over and over and it becomes easy.

    Remember, count twice. Count the second time out loud. This gives your subconscious something to check.

    :)

    I am a registered Republican. i want to change to demarcate how do i do this??

    contact your county clerkI am a registered Republican. i want to change to demarcate how do i do this??
    Republican is a synoym for DEMARCATE so there is no need for you to change anything.

    Now, if you want to become a DEMOCRAT, then see your county clerk.

    Report Abuse

    I am a registered Republican. i want to change to demarcate how do i do this??
    You can still vote either way in the Fall elections, it just means you vote your party for the primaries.
    Judging from your spelling, you already are a ';demarcate.';
    I don't know, just what is a Demarcate?We don't think we have any of those here.
    Is change to a democrat imperetive? Sometimes you have to join something to change something. By remaining republican and voting your choice regardless of party it can still be powerful.

    Republican party needs change, as does the Dem's, and doing it from within.

    Either way you chose, please VOTE!
    First, drink a bottle of really cheap wiskey.

    Then, stumble down to the post office and fill out a new registration form.

    Be sure to mark ';demarcate'; where it says political party.

    Good luck with that!

    ps Do you live in Florida?
    I don't know....we have never had one go over the fence before...first ever...lol
    To change your party registration, contact your local board of elections or register of voters. This can be found in your city pages of your phonebook or online. You will then need to re-register to vote as your new party affiliation. Pay attention to issues of timing if yours is a primary state so you don't miss the chance to vote in the primary.
    Cut off your balls, claim you're a victim of something, and go on welfare.
    The Demarcate party is located in Mexico. Make

    sure when you talk to them, you roll your ';R';'s!

    Say Demarrrrrrrrcate! Mexicans get offended if

    you don't roll your ';R';'s!
    First, learn how to spell Democrat. Next, visit a local hospital and get neutered. Then, head to the post office and register as a Democrat. If you don't see Democrat, check Socialist. Same party, different spelling.
    Depends on what state or even city you live in. Contact the local Democrats.
    Go to your county or parrish courthouse and they can do it right there.
    If you really are a registered republican then you already know how to become a registered DEMOCRAT.

    Same process and leave 10% of your brain at the door.
    Whine a lot and claim you are losing your freedoms, then don't back that statement up with any evidence. Blame America first for everything wrong with the world.

    Trailor for jetski. It is not registered in my name how do I change that?

    The lady that sold the trailor for this jetski insisted that it be signed over to my ex gf. She was a feminist and insisted. Now I need to sell the trailor with the registration signed over to her name. Can i still sell this trailor to someone else now that I am trying to sell the jetski? Please help.Trailor for jetski. It is not registered in my name how do I change that?
    You need to get your ex to sign over the title either to you before the sale or directly to the purchaser. She will probably want the money from the sale. Depending where you live, you could possibly get a mechanics lein.Trailor for jetski. It is not registered in my name how do I change that?
    gotta be a story behind that one. my guess is that the gf paid for it; not judging you, just like a good story.

    You asked 2 questions, I'll answer the 2nd one first.

    ';Can i still sell this trailor to someone else...? ... The Trailor Title was never registered in her name.';

    In most states, no, unless you're a licensed motor vehicle dealer, you have to register it before you can legally sell it. That's a sales tax compliance tool -- the state gets a cut every time it changes hands, and only a dealer can purchase it ';for resale.';

    Question 1: ';how do I change that?';

    Don't know about your jurisdiction, but where I live, it would go a lot easier if ';she'; registered it in her name first, then transferred it to you as a ';gift';. Look on the form used for motor vehicle title transfers; in most states there's a check box for ';gift';, and a minimum tax, like $10 or so instead of the 6-1/2% you gotta pay for sales tax. Course, that would require ';her'; signature.

    good luck.
    Check with the DMV.. In most states small trailers under 1000# dont need to be titled or registered. They just need to be plated..
    Go to city office were you get your tags, and tell them you have a homemade trailer you built that you want to register. get a new set of tags in your name.

    How do I change my pet's AVID chip owner information when it's registered under a different person?

    I currently own a cat and a dog that are both micro chipped through AVID. The problem is, my ex-boyfriend is the registered owner because he initially adopted the animals for me as a gift but listed his name as the owner. We no longer live together so I would like to change the information to be under my name. Do I just have to call AVID to update?How do I change my pet's AVID chip owner information when it's registered under a different person?
    yes. contact AVID.

    hopefully the place he adopted the pets from knew he was adopting for you... a lot of pet adoption center have it in the paperwork you sign, that you can not give your pets to anyone else, that if for some reason you can't have them, they will go back to where you adopted them from.

    I'm having a rethink about my registered Yahoo name. How to change it?

    You can add up to 6 additional names (called alias names) on one account, giving you 7 chat names.

    To add alias names to a current Yahoo! ID, on Yahoo! Messenger from the Messenger menu, click on My Profiles. click on Create/Edit My Profiles. Below your Yahoo ID will be the Create New Public Profile button. Follow the prompts (similar to when you made your original Yahoo! ID).I'm having a rethink about my registered Yahoo name. How do I go about registering my dogs without those change of registry papers?

    I bought my two dogs from a man and his wife and they were registered with ckc. The woman filled out a form that I needed to send in to get the dogs registered as mine or something, but they got misplaced when I moved.How do I go about registering my dogs without those change of registry papers?
    At this point, the dogs are still registered to the breeder/previous owner. So, you would need THEM to get a duplicate registration from CKC and fill that out. After that, you can register the dogs in your name.

    Otherwise, you can't register them.
