I purchased a plot. In that, the adjacent plot Nos are interchanged(East side plot no is mentioned against West and West side plot no is mentioned against East). The documents from whom i purchased the plot contains the same but the previous one was right. what is the procedure to get it correct?How to change the wordings in the registered document of a plot?
If the boundaries shown are correct and only the plot number is wrongly mentioned, you can get it rectified by a ';Deed of Rectification';

Better consult a lawyer. You can make correction through a lawyer or Notary. Each correction to be initialled and at the footnote the total no. of corrections to be mentioned.
