How do I inform the DVLA of a change of registered keeper?

as i have just sold my moped and need to send the registration documents offHow do I inform the DVLA of a change of registered keeper?
It tells you all about how to do it on the V5C log book - you should have done this with the new owner there as you need their details to fill it all in properly.

Their details go in section 6 and section 10 and then BOTH of you have to sign in section 8 - if not done you will have to get together with them to do this.

They then have to keep section 10 only for use as a temporary log boog until the DVLA send them a new one in their name about 6 weeks later.

Until you complete and send the first page with sections 1 to 8 on them to the DVLA you remain responsible for the vehicle and its tax so you need to do this as soon as possible. How do I inform the DVLA of a change of registered keeper?
Tear off the bottom of the reg doc, fill it in and send that to DVLA. That protects you in case the new owner commits a traffic offence. Give the rest of the Reg Doc to the new owner.
The instructions are all on the ownership / registration form! If you need further help, go to their website.
Everything is on the back of the document, read it.
