We bought a car on a loan with HDFC in 2003, the car is on my father in law's name as he got it from CSD, I am the co-applicant and the loan amount is getting debited from my account every month for the past 4 years. due to some reason we need to transfer the car on my name. is there any procedure with which we can do this without changing the Period / EMI ?How to change the registered owner of a car which has a loan pending from HDFC Bank?
They should be able to let you do that, if your credit is good.
But they'll charge some fees to cover their expenses.
If it costs you too much, you can try to get a loan for yourself, try your bak first.
