I can make a effect like it but I dont believe its the proper way. also, my voice register changes at about middle C where I cant do this effect any higher. (im a bass 1 to tenor 1)When singing how do you create vibrato?
Vibrato comes naturally when you are ready for it. You have to be completely relaxed an singing properly, and then it just naturally comes. You can do some tricks to make it different once you get it, but until you get it where your singing and your just like 'o look at that i have vibrato' relax your voice completely when your singing. it wont be there on every note - so my advice is to do scales and see which notes it is easiest on - good luck your gonna do fine :-)When singing how do you create vibrato?
first of all, you should never force a vibrato. it can hurt your vocal cords. it comes naturally. if you're still young and going through some voice changes, when you get older your voice will probably lengthen out and creat its own. but if you are really looking for a vibrato sound, you might want to try what you're doing now. it might not be proper, but if it's getting the sound you want, then go for it. you can't really explain how to do it. when you do it, you'll know.
They're right, vibrato will come with training. You really should try to get a voice teacher. I recommend the following non-profit website:
I play the flute, and i use my diaphragm ( my stomach muscles) to produce my vibrato. In saying its pretty much the same thing. You have to try to open the back of ur throat so that u get a dark tone and then kind of quickly contract ur diaphragm. Start out slowly. Make a a contraction in ur diaphragm like once every second, and then gradually start doing it quicker and quicker. This will take a lot of practice so good luck!
you musto contracto your voice-o
Never force vibrato. Ever. It's horrible for your voice.
I've heard that to create vibrato, you have to free up your voice, let go of nerves, and not think too much. I hope that helps some.
