A friend came over and somehow managed to register my computer system under his name(his name is under system properties-general). How do I change it to my name since it's my computer?I need to know how to change the name of the person my computer system is registered under.?
Go to Start...Right-Click on Computer and select properties...
Now click on Change Settings in ';Computer name, Domain and Workgroup Settings'; Change the name thru each tab. Your computer will want to restart so the settings will work...reboot and you should be OK.
