How do you change your political party?

This sounds silly, I should be old enough to know. But when I registered when I was 18, I picked my party because of what my parents were, because I didn't know a difference.

I took a class when I was in college, and a very wise professor explained to us the G'Ment, and what the beliefs were. I found out my beliefs are in a different party then I registered for. How do I change my party on my reservation?

TYIA!How do you change your political party?
Go to: http://votesmart.org/index.htmHow do you change your political party?
I think you can go to your court house and talk to the registrar (sp) of voting?
the same way you registered originally, at a registration location, or get a registration form from a local government office and mail it in
When you go to voting booth choose the party that you want to vote for and not the one you don't want to vote for.
I'd make it conservative and proud to be.
Go and re register at the court house or where ever you did before.
Assuming that you live in a state which has voter registration by party -- not all of them do -- I'd say that you'll have to contact the election officials in that state to find out. And the only way the issue of party registration is pertinent is if your state allows you to vote in a primary election only if you are registered with the party. In the general election, it doesn't matter which party you register with because you can vote for whomever.
Go back to wherever you registered the first time, and if you registered at a desk in the mall or wherever, go to your county clerk or registrar of voters [each county has its own central spot for this sort of thing]. They will have your original registration on file already, just tell them you want to change your party registration. No problem--and congratulations on being that rarest of all critters, an Involved Citizen!
Go to where you registered to vote.

Do not put this off if you plan to vote in a Primary. Many places have deadlines to register to be eligible to vote in Primaries, and they are often much longer than in general elections.
Fill out a new voter registration form and mark the party you'd like to change to.

  • How am I suppose to give change out from a cash register?

    Customers give me coins after I put in the amount and I'm looking like a retard. For example, amount is $3.73 and they give me $20.03 like how much money am I suppose to give back? P.S. It's my first job. How am I suppose to give change out from a cash register?
    Just add that to the change figure shown on the register, and you're good to go! Remember that the reason people do that in the first place is to make their change come out more evenly...How am I suppose to give change out from a cash register?
    Im pretty slow at basic math myself so I would suggest getting youself a little handheld calculator that you can keep in your pocket or at your register for such things. You can get a cheap one at stores like the Dollar Tree for a buck.
    Wow. Hey, you should glare at the customer good and long for doin that crap to you. Be like, ooooohh you had to give me the 3 friggin cents huh?! well here's your change BUDDY! and give them 16.27 back.. the real change for gettin a 20. None of this give you 20 bucks plus 3 pennies crap!!
    Keep a calculator by your register. In that case that would customer would receive 16.30 (20.03-3.73) using the calculator. Many people like even change so I would have a calculator most definitely.
    Its simple math! To be a cashier, all you need to do is count to 100. Can't do that? Instead of counting back 27 cents, isn't giving back a quarter and a nickel much easier?

    If you type that they gave you $20 and they hand you another 3 cents, you can't add 3 cents to the $16.27 that is showing on the register?
    This is a great question really. Because I had to be trained to get this right. Two methods:

    1) The newer cash registers give one the ability to enter in 20.03 as the amount tendered into the cash register. Then the register calculates the change, and you count that to the customer as you give it to them. And talk as you do this, ';here is ten, fifteen, sixteen dollars and thirty cents.';

    2) Before cash registers were computerized we had to count to ourselves to pull the change out. Then we had to count it back, out loud, as we give the customer their change. I do the change first so that if I have to carry the one, I know before I get to the bills. Ignore, for a moment, the dollars and realize that you need 30 cents to get to 03. Count to your self 30 + 73 gets me to 03, carry a one. That one brings me to 4 (4 dollars, now I am into the bills). 20 - 4 = 16. Pull out the 16 dollars into your hand. You already have 30 cents ready. Then count back as you place their money into their hands. Start with the purchase price. Say ';three-seventy-three'; pass them the 30 cents and say ';four-oh-three'; then hand them the one dollar bill and say ';five-oh-three'; then hand them the five and say ';ten-oh-three'; and lastly hand them their ten and say ';twenty-oh-three.'; ';Thank you and have a nice day.';

    You will look very sharp doing that. Practice at home. And always remember that you can ask this of the manager. That would be better than having a short drawar (or an overage). After some practice, the same math comes up over and over and it becomes easy.

    Remember, count twice. Count the second time out loud. This gives your subconscious something to check.

    :)

    I am a registered Republican. i want to change to demarcate how do i do this??

    contact your county clerkI am a registered Republican. i want to change to demarcate how do i do this??
    Republican is a synoym for DEMARCATE so there is no need for you to change anything.

    Now, if you want to become a DEMOCRAT, then see your county clerk.

    Report Abuse

    I am a registered Republican. i want to change to demarcate how do i do this??
    You can still vote either way in the Fall elections, it just means you vote your party for the primaries.
    Judging from your spelling, you already are a ';demarcate.';
    I don't know, just what is a Demarcate?We don't think we have any of those here.
    Is change to a democrat imperetive? Sometimes you have to join something to change something. By remaining republican and voting your choice regardless of party it can still be powerful.

    Republican party needs change, as does the Dem's, and doing it from within.

    Either way you chose, please VOTE!
    First, drink a bottle of really cheap wiskey.

    Then, stumble down to the post office and fill out a new registration form.

    Be sure to mark ';demarcate'; where it says political party.

    Good luck with that!

    ps Do you live in Florida?
    I don't know....we have never had one go over the fence before...first ever...lol
    To change your party registration, contact your local board of elections or register of voters. This can be found in your city pages of your phonebook or online. You will then need to re-register to vote as your new party affiliation. Pay attention to issues of timing if yours is a primary state so you don't miss the chance to vote in the primary.
    Cut off your balls, claim you're a victim of something, and go on welfare.
    The Demarcate party is located in Mexico. Make

    sure when you talk to them, you roll your ';R';'s!

    Say Demarrrrrrrrcate! Mexicans get offended if

    you don't roll your ';R';'s!
    First, learn how to spell Democrat. Next, visit a local hospital and get neutered. Then, head to the post office and register as a Democrat. If you don't see Democrat, check Socialist. Same party, different spelling.
    Depends on what state or even city you live in. Contact the local Democrats.
    Go to your county or parrish courthouse and they can do it right there.
    If you really are a registered republican then you already know how to become a registered DEMOCRAT.

    Same process and leave 10% of your brain at the door.
    Whine a lot and claim you are losing your freedoms, then don't back that statement up with any evidence. Blame America first for everything wrong with the world.

    Trailor for jetski. It is not registered in my name how do I change that?

    The lady that sold the trailor for this jetski insisted that it be signed over to my ex gf. She was a feminist and insisted. Now I need to sell the trailor with the registration signed over to her name. Can i still sell this trailor to someone else now that I am trying to sell the jetski? Please help.Trailor for jetski. It is not registered in my name how do I change that?
    You need to get your ex to sign over the title either to you before the sale or directly to the purchaser. She will probably want the money from the sale. Depending where you live, you could possibly get a mechanics lein.Trailor for jetski. It is not registered in my name how do I change that?
    gotta be a story behind that one. my guess is that the gf paid for it; not judging you, just like a good story.

    You asked 2 questions, I'll answer the 2nd one first.

    ';Can i still sell this trailor to someone else...? ... The Trailor Title was never registered in her name.';

    In most states, no, unless you're a licensed motor vehicle dealer, you have to register it before you can legally sell it. That's a sales tax compliance tool -- the state gets a cut every time it changes hands, and only a dealer can purchase it ';for resale.';

    Question 1: ';how do I change that?';

    Don't know about your jurisdiction, but where I live, it would go a lot easier if ';she'; registered it in her name first, then transferred it to you as a ';gift';. Look on the form used for motor vehicle title transfers; in most states there's a check box for ';gift';, and a minimum tax, like $10 or so instead of the 6-1/2% you gotta pay for sales tax. Course, that would require ';her'; signature.

    good luck.
    Check with the DMV.. In most states small trailers under 1000# dont need to be titled or registered. They just need to be plated..
    Go to city office were you get your tags, and tell them you have a homemade trailer you built that you want to register. get a new set of tags in your name.

    How do I change my pet's AVID chip owner information when it's registered under a different person?

    I currently own a cat and a dog that are both micro chipped through AVID. The problem is, my ex-boyfriend is the registered owner because he initially adopted the animals for me as a gift but listed his name as the owner. We no longer live together so I would like to change the information to be under my name. Do I just have to call AVID to update?How do I change my pet's AVID chip owner information when it's registered under a different person?
    yes. contact AVID.

    hopefully the place he adopted the pets from knew he was adopting for you... a lot of pet adoption center have it in the paperwork you sign, that you can not give your pets to anyone else, that if for some reason you can't have them, they will go back to where you adopted them from.

    How do I go about registering my dogs without those change of registry papers?

    I bought my two dogs from a man and his wife and they were registered with ckc. The woman filled out a form that I needed to send in to get the dogs registered as mine or something, but they got misplaced when I moved.How do I go about registering my dogs without those change of registry papers?
    At this point, the dogs are still registered to the breeder/previous owner. So, you would need THEM to get a duplicate registration from CKC and fill that out. After that, you can register the dogs in your name.

    Otherwise, you can't register them.

    Why did my computer change IP addresses?

    I noticed that my IP addressed---when I'm on the internet---changed. Like, when I'm on gmail, I keep a close watch on the 'details' thing because I have noticed that other computers, that I don't use, use my account sometimes. Yesterday, I noticed that my IP address changed. Normally, gmail registers my IP address as 24-something but now it's registering my IP address as 76-something. This didn't bother me because it didn't seem to affect my computer. But when I was browsing a site I use a lot, it all of a sudden said, ';Your IP address has been blacklisted by http:BL.';

    I am certain that this isn't my IP address, and that someone has hijacked my computer/gmail.

    What is wrong with my computer? How do I get my old IP address back? How do I get the hacker people to go away?

    Thank you!Why did my computer change IP addresses?
    it could be that your pc is infected.scan your pc or do a system restore to a day when it was working normally.Why did my computer change IP addresses?
    Call your ISP and have them look into it.
    Comcast, your probable provider, owns blocks in both 24.x.x.x and 76.x.x.x.

    Unless you have a 'VPN' or 'static IP' feature added to your typical personal-use internet account, you are not guaranteed to keep an IP address, as you have a dynamic IP address.

    If you stopped using your connection for a period of time(eg., you took a vacation longer than a few days), your chances of losing that IP are increased, as you aren't 'renewing'.

    You are likely not hijacked, you simply had your dynamic IP address released. However, as the previous answer suggested, phone in and get your new IP released so you can get a non-blocked one.

    And request a static IP to prevent future issues once you're confirmably functional with the IP address they give you next.
    If you have wireless internet you can check your current IP address by going to you Command prompt. By knowing your IP you can put a password onto the wireless to protect your connection. If you have vista, just type ';command'; in the start search and it should pop up. Type in ipconfig /all and many different listings should pop up. Look for a ';IPv4 Address... '; ';

    Then go to your browser and type in the IP into the address bar and a box should pop up asking for a Username and password. Default is usually admin/admin. This should connect you to your router. And there you can find a ';security'; tab or something similar to set up a password.
    It happened when your DHCP server is Enabled in your TCP/IP setting

    And about your ';Your IP address has been blacklisted by http:BL.'; then go to www.spamhus.org click on PBL put your IP in lift side box then hit Enter. If you IP in RED color then you IP is listed on Blacklist (Spam list) on the Internet

    Then tell your ISP my IP is Listed in Spam List.
    If the hops stop at an IP address other than your computer's IP, ... One more thing to consider is whether your network uses internal addresses. In this case, the IP address of your machine as reported by your TCP/IP settings is not reachable from outside your network.
    i would wait it might correct it self there have been a lot glitches these days with Yahoo and Goggle
    all the answers are wrong except for the one about dynamic ip's

    one possibility is someone that had your ip previously, did something bad and got that ip blacklisted, then while your internet was down or you werent connected, he called comcast and asked for a new ip, and you got his

    How do I change my computer's name under who it was registered to?

    I remember I could have made it anything that I wanted to begin. But that dumb thing pops up randomly, I need to change itHow do I change my computer's name under who it was registered to?
    Yes, you can go into the registry and change the owner name. You should back up the registry before making any changes鈥攈ere's how...

    Go to Start/Run and type in ';regedit'; without the quotes (Win 2000 type ';regedt32';)

    With Windows XP (and probably Win 2000) navigate to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft / Windows NT/CurrentVersion

    Click the ';CurrentVersion'; folder and look for the ';RegisteredOwner'; key. Double click and change the value to your name. You can also change the ';RegisteredOrganization'; if you want to.

    When finished go to File/Exit.

    With Windows 98 (not sure about ME but you can try this path) find your way to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/鈥?br>

    Click the ';CurrentUser'; key and change it to your name.

    When finished go to File/Exit.

    To verify your changes, right click My Computer and choose ';Properties';. Under ';Registered to'; it should show the new name and organization.

    Now the computer is really yours!

    DEALIN WITH THE PUBLIC HAS NEVER BEEN EASY ROAD

    I WAS TAUGHT THAT IF YA CAN'T SAY ANYTHING NICE ABOUT PEOPLE STAY QUIET

    AND AFTER WORKIN AT DISNEY YOU MEET SOME PRETTY GRUMPY PEOPLE FROM TIME TO TIME
    What makes a good customer is good customer service. Even if a customer is having a bad day, then you should smile and ask if there is anything they need some assistance finding. Always be cheerful and courteous, and try to remember their names. If you introduce yourself to your customer, nine out of ten times your customer will introduce himself or herself, as well. Make your customer enjoy a PERSONAL experience and you'll be surprised at the results you get. I have a customer that everyone else hates to handle at my taxicab company. For some reason I get smiles, laughs, and even an occasional invite to dinner, as well as a story or two from him. I never rush my customers. They all know they will all receive the same service from our company (MY rules), no matter whether they ride a short distance or out of town. Each customer becomes a repeat customer when he or she is treated like the ONLY customer in the place. When that customer departs, THEN relax and get ready to repeat with the next person. Having to deal with people putting things in the wrong places is just part of the business, and you can inform parents that their children will be sold as slaves if they continue to act in an unruly fashion. Just let kids be kids and teach them how to help you sell to their parents. They will be ';working'; so they won't make such a mess. When bagging groceries or purchases, customers have to carry the stuff in at their homes. They know what they can carry, so let them tell you. So what if you use more bags? Cater to them. They'll come back and ask for YOUR register every time. As for the cranky persons, ask if there's something that you can do to make their day better. If they complain about a certain employee, tell them that person will be shot at daybreak along with the fool that hired him or her, and that you will be selling tickets at midnight if the customer would like to come and see the fun. Usually that gets a laugh or two and the whole thing gets forgotten. Then, don't forget to tell the employee that you told the customer that. As for the ';short-changers,'; well, they're scammers, theives and not really customers, then, are they? So forget about them. Offer to let them see the security video of your register and what they handed you in front of a manager. They'll slink away. Those wanting to buy alcohol or tobacco and are denied can be told that they can call a police officer and complain if they wish, with an offer to use the store's phone. They won't. They'll usually just leave.

    There is no such thing as a bad customer, only bad customer service. The customer is always right. That's what has always worked for me. We keep getting more and more customers, and we keep growing, so I guess we're doing SOMETHING right, now aren't we?

    Just remember this...If you don't give your customers great service your competitors will.
    well the question goes both ways , yes there are bad customers , but there are also bad employess that work out the stores and outlets as well . , i do agree about the parents who have no controll over there kids that there kids are doing this and that . but isnt most stores theroy as long as the customers happy so r we . as for the short changin well its you fault that your register is short at the end of the day cause its up to the clerk to double count the money before the customer leaves , yes some customers will recieve a lil to much change back and not say nothin but i feel yes they should of been honest but the clerk should of been more carefull , and yes i dont blame a customer for gettign made when the stores offer certain items have them in there adds and then dont have them available , having the items availabel will bring customers back as well as how nice the store is kept as well as how nice the employees are to the customers and how wiling clerks are willing t help the customers find what they need , and say im sorry we dont have that itewm in stock right now but we have a simler item at the same price or even a rain check etc . so when it comes to customer adn clerk relations i think it goes both ways , and we the customers have the right to say how we want are things bagged and put into the cart after all we r the ones whos paying for it , will u buy a dozen broken eggs no u wouldnt would u want your grocerys like bread , cake etc put at the bottom of your cart or placed in the bottom of a bag iwth milk or something on it no u would not,

    i can give u an example the other day my son hubby and i walked to the grocery store , we bought a cart full of food and other items , the clerk was really nice and we were nice in return the bag girl was also nice , we did not pay attention to how the girl bagged the items we did not think we would need to sence the girl has been there for awhile etc , anyway on the way home we wernt even out of the parking lot yet with our cart of food , i stoped to light my cigarette when i looked down i had noticed there was milk leaking from the cart so i started to remove some of the bags from the cart , the bag girl well the bagging clerk had placed my 10 count box of soap in the bottom of the grocery bag no biggy there , but then she placed a galoon of milk on top of the soap side ways , then placed the bag in the cart with othr objects on top of the milk etc , what do u think happened , the milk being placed on its side leaked out of the carton onto my soap , making each bar of soap wet , i live 6 blocks away from the store if i didnt stop to light a smoke i would of probaly lost all my milk and the saop would of been a total waiste , did i go back n complain no i just came home and put the stuff away etc , will i have the girl bag my grocerys again no i wont me or my hubby will bag them ourself . and when u talk about how costomers treat u etc think about those nurses etc every day thy hear it from us , family members etc , know i dont think its right that u as a clerk have to put up with it but customers dont have to put up with it either . its just like when u go to a salon to get you nails or hair done , thy start cutting your hair u say no i want less off here and more here etc im sure they dont like that either u go in tell them what u want and when they start doing it u tell them how to do it .

    as for me i go to the same store and im polite and talk to all the employeees there no matter what mood im in if i had a bad day i let them know .

    but like i said it goes both ways , both custmers adn emplyees of the store need to be nice to one another

    i have knocked somethin off a shelf and i went and got some papertowels to clean it up along comes an emplyee and she begins to help clean it up she told me to go that her boss might get mad because its her job to clean if anything is spilled etc and she dont ewant to risk getting introuble .what is perfect order on a conveyer belt , theres no particular order that things should be placed etc , but i do try to put my heavier itm on first so that i dont have anything heavey placed ontop of mty eggs bread fruit etc

    I want to change my name on all goverment records and so far ive changed my name with passports %26amp; driving license etc with Deed Poll but i yet to change it on the Electoral Voting Register.

    The main reason i want to change it on the Electoral vote is that i want my new name to appear when going to Jury Duty!!!

    Just advise your electoral registration officer.How to change name on Electoral voting register?
    ';Once a year, registration forms are sent to every household for completion - usually in August or September. The register of electors is then published on 1 December each year, using the information submitted on these forms. Additions and deletions can also be made to the register every month, except during September, October and November when the new register is being produced. You must obtain a registration form from your local authority - many allow you to download this form from their website. A separate form needs to be completed by each member of the household who is eligible to vote. Once you have completed the registration form, please complete and return to your local Electoral Registration Office.';

    You may not need to do this if you haven't yet completed your annual electoral register return - just make the changes on there.
    In the UK, you need to contact the Electoral Registration section at the Council and ask to amend the records. Everyone has to register by law every year and forms are sent out in August usually, but nowadays there is a thing called rolling registration where people can register during the year and records are updated monthly.
    I'm not sure what You mean, but there is no electoral voting register.

    but You can register to vote. Some places use a drivers license or other means for jury duty.

    If they need You bad enough, they can drag You in off the street.

    Sorry. never heard that term used before. I typed in electoral voting register and it was there.
    get in touch with your local Town Hall and they should be able to help you

    My son found out he has a 3 yr old what are his rights as a father?

    he is not listed on the birth certificate but wants to be. the mother keeps finding excuses not to meet him and register the change. since he has found out about the boy he has him almost every weekend but would like legal visitation how can he obtain his legal rights as a father?My son found out he has a 3 yr old what are his rights as a father?
    It depends on the jurisdiction. In most, if he is not listed, then he will have to take a paternity test to prove hs claim. Legally, he has NO rights as a father. He has to be careful because the child's mother is the custodian of the child and the court WILL not grant joint custody unless the mother is found to be unfit. He WILL be REQUIRED to pay child support, and MAY be granted visitation. They are NOT automatically tied together. They are separate issues Your best bet is to contact a family law attorney and discuss your son's options with them

    Being an independent is a good thing as long as you do your home work and only elect honest people to office: the ones who can count.

    so they'll let you run the cash register don't think im stupid from not knowing thisWhat's the easiest way to learn how to count back money and change on the cash register?
    You start with the total amount of the sale and then count UPWARD to the amount tendered. For example, if the total sale is $5.65 and the customer gave you a $10 bill, you count UPWARD from $5.65 to $10. The result will be the correct change amount.

    Just bought a car and seller put my name as the registered keeper, how can I change it to my sons name?

    if he sent the v5 off ,you will have to wait till it comes back then send it off to swansea in your sons name. But the car will have the extra keeper, this will not be to bad if you son lives at home with you, as it will show the same address this is regarded as passing the car down in the family or you could try ringing the dvla and telling them what happened but knowing what the dvla are like this could take forever hope this helpsJust bought a car and seller put my name as the registered keeper, how can I change it to my sons name?
    you have to send the registered owner form to the DVLA with your son's name on. and they will do the rest.

    i dont think it costs anything. make the changes and send off.

    xxJust bought a car and seller put my name as the registered keeper, how can I change it to my sons name?
    send the V5 off and wait for it to come back an then re-register it in his name.
    change the name ove to your son,fillin part on tax book that the name of that the car is going to be in.

    skiney
    Funny people always assume you know what country city they live in things are very different in different places depends where you are.
    You just need to wait for the V5 form to come back and then re register the car in your sons name, the down point is though that the car will appear to have 1 owner more on the documents, but should not be an issue unless it is a newish car! If this is the case contact the DVLA and ask them to change the details before they send the V5 back, I am not too sure whether this is possible though, another option is that when they return the V5 just contact them and tell them that the details on the form is incorrect and that you sons name, is the owner of the car.
    If you ask the DVLA themselves, they are much more likely to know the answer than any of us! After all, it's they who issue the registration documents. Just follow this this link:

    http://www.dvla.gov.uk/contactus/vehicle鈥?/a>
    You just tell the idiot who wrote down your name
    Wait for the certificate to arrive and then put your son's name on it with a letter explaining to the DVLA of the mistake, that way it won't affect the number of keepers.

    Counting change....please help?

    I'm 17 and i might get my first job at my local small grocery store and i would be working the cash register alot of the time. My problem is I'm pretty slow at counting change and I'm afraid i might be too slow or short change the customer/register, i don't work well under pressure but I'm working on that. I've been practicing counting change with my family but I'm not getting any better or faster. How many minutes is too long for the customer to wait while i count their change? I know i need to relax and just take it slow but it's kinda nerve wracking for me cause it would be my first job. How can i count their change faster, and be more accurate?Counting change....please help?
    I have had three years of cashier experience, and I find that if you take your time you make way less mistakes. You're going to be slow at first, but don't panic--after a while it becomes second nature and you'll be sending those customers out the door with smiles on their faces. You'd be surprised to know that most customers really don't care about how long it takes you to count their change. What they care about is if you rung things up correctly, gave them discounts where applicable, and gave them the CORRECT amount of change. Failing to do one of these things often results in an irate customer.

    Oh, and you may experience an irate customer on your first day of work. Whatever you do, DO NOT let it get to you! These people are just assholes that have nothing better to do than to yell at people and try to get them to lose their jobs by fighting with them. Don't let them make you sad or mad, just disregard them and move on!Counting change....please help?
    Just practice a lot. Have friends or family go through scenarios where they have a certain random purchase price and they give you various denominations that you have to make change for. Eventually, you should start to learn a pattern of what combinations of certain bills and coins equals certain sums.

    You can also play games that rely on your ability to count. Monopoly is a good one. You can play a game of Monopoly using real money, except scaled down by a factor of 100 (one penny equals one dollar, a quarter is $25, a dollar bill is $100, and $10 bill is $1000, etc.).
    If you can't count change properly please don't work at a grocery store. I hate it when the cashier takes an eternity to count change and still gets it wrong.

    Counting change!!!!?
    Relax! Cash Registers are electronic, so they tell you how much change to give back, and most people make visa purchases, so I wouldn't worry, if I were you. Just keep practicing counting back change, because you always want to make sure that you are getting your proper change back, yourself. Good luck!

    When I registered to vote I registered as a Republican...how do I change my affiliation to Democrat?

    It depends on the state you live in. Generally, your party affiliation is irrelevant to how you vote. If you're just concerned about your party affiliation, you can re-register as a democrat as well as vote a democratic ticket. Whether or not your re-registration goes through by election time doesn't matter because either way, you will be a registered voter at the time of the election.

    I don't know if this is true today, but I remember being told many years ago that some states have restrictions on how registered voters can vote depending on which party they declare and/or vote for in the primary/caucus. But I don't know which states they are and whether or not such restrictions still apply today. You might want to call your state's voting office and ask.

    Depending on which state you live in, you may be able to re-register online at http://www.longdistancevoter.org/verify_鈥?/a>

    By the way, your post office should have registration forms if your state doesn't allow online voter registration.When I registered to vote I registered as a Republican...how do I change my affiliation to Democrat?
    You can just do it at the voting booth. When I registered to vote I registered as a Republican...how do I change my affiliation to Democrat?
    I think you just need to re-register and mark Democrat on the form.
    it's not permanent. just change it on election day.
    What happened? Head injury? Crack?
    You only need to be registerd Republican to vote in the Republican primary. In the general election in November you can vote for whoever you like.

    After November, you can re-register at the DMV as a Democrat and then you can vote in Democratic primaries. Except for primaries, it doesn't matter.
    Register again, not that it matters since you can vote for whomever you please. However, you will need to be of the appropriate party to vote in the primaries in four years.
    It doesn't matter. You can vote for anyone you want.
    Just go and re-register and tell them that you are changing parties. I think your daft.. but it's your right. The libertarians are never going to amount to much because they cannot convince anyone with the way they go about it. They also find nothing but washouts from other parties and or complete whackjobs like ronpaul
    As people have said, in order to vote Democratic in the upcoming election, you don't need to change your affiliation.

    However, to actually answer your question, you just contact the Registrar of Voters in your city/state.
    why would you want to do such a thing?

    I misspelled my name when I registered my brand new laptop (I know, total fail). I changed everything on my lap to my correctly-spelled name, but with the deeper files; I do not know how to access them. I changed my account name to its correct form. I even did that ';regedit'; thingy and changed the ';RegisteredOwner'; to the correct spelling. HOWEVER, I typed in ';Dap'; (the misspelled name) into the ';search program and files'; option of the Start Menu, and files that contain the word ';Dap'; still appear: ';C:\Users\Dap';, ';C:\Users\Dap\Documents';, ';C:\Users\Dap\Pictures';, etc, etc. How do I change this? Go to options in yahoo mail, if that's what you're using, then click ';Mail'; to the left. From the lists on the right, click the one that says ';General Preferences';. Where it says ';From name'; type in what name you want to be seen as sender. Then scroll down and click ';Save';. That should do it.

    Show name question?? (again...)?

    I have a tb gelding named Hank, his registered name is Ten in Front. He's 6 yrs old and is a dark bay. Can I put in a show name that is different from his registered name if I were to show 4-H and some basic circuit shows? Or how would I go about changing his registered name?

    Thank youShow name question?? (again...)?
    You can use whatever name you like for showing. Most OTTB's have a different show name than their registered name, since the jockey club registered names are usually weird as hell. My mare is ';Sloane Gin Fiz'; and she doesn't have a horse in her pedigree with a remotely similar name... my trainer has a JC registered TB mare whose registred name is ';Boot Scootin' Dixie';... so weird for a tall lanky thoroughbred!

    You can use whatever you want, just put that name on all of his medical records and also use the same one with the same spelling every time.

    You can change the registered name if you feel like it, it's just not really worth the hassle. Not really sure what that costs. You can't do that if the horse has been bred, but since yours is a gelding I don't think that's an issue!

    Does anyone else get pissed off when cashiers act like they can't count change without the register?

    I mean seriously. This has happened to me a couple of times. I've given the cashier a $5 or a 10 and the total is like something $.05 or whatever but they have already but in the register that I have given them 10 and proceed to give me the .95 cent but then I tell them I have the nickel and they say it's too late although the drawer is open. I mean do they NOT know how to count change with out the register doing it for them? If they don't then they don't need to be dealing with money! Has this happened to anyone else before?Does anyone else get pissed off when cashiers act like they can't count change without the register?
    Unfortunately, this is the norm.

    It's a shame that the young people of today can text message quicker than most typists can type, but don't have the basic conceptual ability to understand how to count money.

    But it isn't the kids fault. Our society has allowed the basics of living to get brushed aside. Our school system is pumping out young adults who have no idea how to get and maintain credit, how to balance a checkbook, how to budget, and how to buy food. As a result, there are huge numbers of young adults out there who cannot even make basic change without having a calculator or cash register tell them what to do.Does anyone else get pissed off when cashiers act like they can't count change without the register?
    Yep, I know what you mean. They can't count, yet they're handling money.

    using the registry editor - start %26gt; run %26gt; regedit.exe %26gt; ok - search and change the value for 'RegisteredOwner' to the name of your choice. this is the value that is read by most windows applications when it wants the name of the owner so a simple change to this one tiny value will be reflected pretty much everywhere on your laptop from now on.

    What do you think of the following scenario in the world we live in today ? Texting and the following?

    I know that kids are growing up with the use of calculators to do all the math for them and computers to do the same. Most can not even count out change from a register. I have seen them in action.

    As far as texting , they are learning that its not necessary to know how to spell a word, just use a few letters. Will this have an affect on their ability to write , spell and read anything in the future to come . Or do you think its just a phase ?What do you think of the following scenario in the world we live in today ? Texting and the following?
    It seems to me that over a period of many years our scholastic levels have gone downhill. Young adults can't count change back to customrers at restaurants or any customer oriented business.

    My husband, ';Hello, is this so-and-so's office?';

    Receptionist, ';Yeah';

    My husband, ';Is so-and-so in?';

    Receptionist, ';No';

    My husband, ';To whom am I speaking?';

    Receptionist, ';I be me, who be you?';

    My husband hung up!

    Would you want to do business with someone who hired an illiterate person who doesn't even know how to answer a business phone properly? It doesn't speak too highly of his skills either.

    The younger generation doesn't seem to be taught much of anything ... Biblical truths, manners, English, math, respect, or common sense.

    The easier things are made for them the less they will have in the way of education unless they really apply themselves. But that doesn't seem too likey either with the norm being adjusted to meet the needs of all the illegal immigrants flooding the U.S.A.

    I took Greg Simplified Shorthand I and II in high school. But we couldn't take it unless we were making at least B's in English. Shorthand is comprised of symbols basically made up of using phonics. For instance: carry would be spelled out symbolically ';k-a-r-e';. In addition there were 156 brief forms that had to be memorized that could stand for more than one word and have more than one meaning depending on how it was used in a sentence. You see why English was so important.

    Texting is similar to shorthand without the symbols. If you don't have a good grasp on English to begin with, you won't do well with spelling or reading.

    Yes, I think our young people are being robbed of an education, an imagination, relationship building, good ol' common sense, etc. Both parents are working to make ends meet because they have an unrealistic concept of what is wanted vs. what is needed. Their children pay the consequences of their absence in the home ... latchkey kids coming home to an empty house opens the door wide open for Satan to step in and turn that kid everyway but loose. There's no guidance because parents are too tired to interact with their children or they're so frustrated themselves that they are turning to drink or drugs to get them through the evening to face another day.

    When they took prayer, the pledge of allegiance to the flag, and the basics of Bible morals out of the schools, they opened the doors to total chaos in the world.What do you think of the following scenario in the world we live in today ? Texting and the following?
    I hope it is just a phase. I grew up, and I'm only 29 yrs old, having to memorize, or mental math if you will, my math problems. I love, love the written English language so it is dispairing to see things like IDK for I do not know, etc. I do plan to teach my son the same way I grew up simply because I don't want him to have to pull out a calculator to do simple math that can be done in his head. As far as texting, I'm afraid it is here to stay. It's convenient and quicker than a phone call, not to mention cheaper on the phone bill.
    I don't think it's a phase, it's just a faster way to communicate and fun to do so. The schools teach them the right way. My g/son who is 13 is an honor roll student. It hasn't hurt him in anyway by doing his abbreviations on his space on the computer. I taught him before kindergarten how to make change.

    I feel that the parents or caregivers should always double check their child's homework to see how they are grasping today's methods of teaching.
    Unfortunately, these kids have already seem to have lost the ability to spell properly, or any other word for that matter.

    It is inevitable, you use what you practice. I sincerely fear for the generation that follows them.

    We may eventually end up with an entirely new language.
    I agree with 'Molly';...the future generations will most likely have a ';language'; all their own. But at the rate that our generation is destroying our natural resources, we may not have much of a World for future generation to incorporate this ';new language';.
    I wish it were only a phase. Unfortunately it does affect kids. So many of them cannot spell, write, do simple math problems, or even think for that matter, and it's not getting any better. For a teacher it's a nightmare.
    ALAS! I believe it's here to stay. I have also watched people who seem to have lost the ability to think for themselves and ';roll with the flow'; and unfortunately, this stigma seem to stay with them. I have noticed with many of them they can hardly read and write and I attribute this to the failing system of education which assess students on a different basis than used when I went to school. It's a damning indictment on the so called system that guarantees only that a teenager leaves school totally ill equipped to handle responsibility in the world.

    basic math

    make sure you give right change by adding back what was spent

    if they spent 7.25 and they hand you a $20 bill change is 12.75

    so add 7.25 +12.75 and you have $20What do you have to learn how to count back money and change on the cash register?
    Depends on where you work, I work at Publix and they have a program that teaches you how to do everything. If you work in a smaller store, then you'll need to learn how to do basic math and be able to keep up with busy times. If you get overwhelmed by stuff, just ask someone to help you.
    if you can't count back money and don't know how to add. what happens if the power goes out

    Yeah, but you can vote for whoever you want regardless of what the card says.

    How can I cancel my Voter Registration in Georgia?

    My name has changed since I registered. I understand that I must re register with my new name. How can I cancel it so that I can re register in time to vote?How can I cancel my Voter Registration in Georgia?
    Just register again. It takes the place of your old one.How can I cancel my Voter Registration in Georgia?
    You do not need to cancel your registration. You only need to make the change which can be done at whatever office your state or county tells you to go to. However, BE SURE TO HAVE A PHOTO ID. This is critical. Make sure you have the proper ID required to vote. Georgia is trying to suppress Democratic voter turnout and have repeatedly gone to court about this issue. Find out what ID you will need and have it with you or you may go home disenfranchised.

    Will my registered alcoholic boyfriend ever change?

    I have been with him for 3 years, he is not as bad as he used to be but still finds an excuse to drink. has anyone been in the same situation? Wnd when he drinks he gets so pissed he can't stand up most of the time. We argue about it the next day but there isn't really anything to argue about. I have kept a diary of when he drinks etc as he never goes without drinking for more than 4 days in a row. This is better than everyday as it used to be but I am scared of wasting my life - I am 36 and want to settle down and have kids etc -how long do i wait. WHen will I know that things have really changed?And if things get better, how will i know that the problem is not lying dormant and waiting to come back out and ruin my life. Apart from his drinking he is perfect. I always thought an alcoholic is only reformed if he never drinks again- he wont do this because he loves his drink too much, so instead, he says is controlling it instead of abstaining. Is this really possible?Will my registered alcoholic boyfriend ever change?
    no it is not possible...he is lying and controlling you....run in the other direction...he is a sick man....Will my registered alcoholic boyfriend ever change?
    He'll never change. Move on. I waited for 4 years for my ex-husband to grow up. Now, his recently thrown out new wife is waiting on the same thing, while he's screwing a married woman.

    I am so glad I divorced him.
    only time can tell, only time...
    Join a group called alanon. Its for the partners of Alcoholics ( not for Alcoholics) and that group will help you to understand the situation. It is free!

    Alcolism is a disease that can only be controlled by not drinking.
    Until he is ready to get a handle on his drinking he will never change, so multiply that scenario about 1,000 times and that is how your life will be and you will not be married to him. Sometimes you have to let that go and find someone new, and better for you. Don't ever settle for second best. You are so much better than that.
    He's not going to change. Dump him and stop wasting precious ink and paper. It'll get you no where.
    You've put up with an obnoxious drunk for 3 years who you admit loves alcohol more than you?

    Aren't you better that that?

    You deserve better.

    Why are you wasting time on a man who has no respect for you or himself?

    You want to have children with a drunk?

    Come on, you deserve better.
    im coming up on a yr with onlly a handful well four slips and even then I dont crave like I used to. That is the key for me .. Im so mad at myself drinking makes me take it out on others . I want it all ... now ... I will give you the world if youll give me an ounce of uncondional love.
    Okay my boyfriend is the same way except he still drinks everyday. It kind've depends. See my boyfriend knows that he drinks too much and wants to stop and clean up his life. If your guy does not even see that he has a problem than there is no way for him to control it. Once he admits that he has an issue with it than he can control it instead of cutting it off all together. As for whether you should stick around it depends. Do you love him? Do you want to help him get over this? If you answer yes to those questions you can not just walk away your heart would break for him but if you answer no to either one that it is time to step aside. Good luck to you!
    OK...what i did with my ex alky husband was i used to film him secretly when he was drunk...from start to finish....his personality would change so rapidly...then when he'd passed out i saved the recordings, and then at a later date i showed him (when he was sober) what he was really like...he got help....he was disgusted in himself, and felt bad about how he treated me when he was drunk, this helped him alot, it brought home the truth for him, the person he was when he was drunk...he was ok sober but a nasty horrible abusive lout when he was drunk...he does not drink any more...try and get him on film and show him what he's doing to himself and what he's doing to your relationship...a shock like that should wake him up...he won't really stop unless it's in his heart to stop, bu this may be a way of showing him what damage he's doing...never th less, if you feel that your life is on hold because he's drinking, ten i suggest you find someone else who's capable of giving you a good life, don't hang around if your not happy....he has to help himself before you can help him, it's all down to him....notice i said ex....he did cheat, so his drinking was not the reason why we broke up...
    A leopard doesn’t (usually) change his spots. There are cases of hard line “screw you I wont quit drinking” people who HAS quit drinking, and those people quit and got onto the road of recovery through a lot of tough love, respect and support from lovers and peers.

    Its so easy to say “dump him”, but we all know it’s a lot easier to talk than to do. If you really love this guy, and want to be with him, love him unconditionally. Do not judge his actions, because he is under the influence of a very powerful force. By loving hum unconditionally and not judging his actions, you can support him in seeing the way his life is ruining other’s, and through that you can begin his path to recovery.

    It will be tough, but everything worth having is worth fighting for.

    As The Guru said, join Alanon, you’ll get a lot of support and tips there.

    Good luck!
    Day to day life can be difficult enough without the problems of an alcoholic.

    Time to get out and hope you can find a decent chap to give you a family before time runs out.
    My nephew is an alcoholic and has been fighting off drinking for several months now. He hasn't had a drink of anything in over 3 months. He went to AA meetings for a few weeks when he first started and now he goes once a week. Also, AlAnon for the family members is a great place to go if you are going to help him through it. I don't believe you can drink sometimes if you are an alcoholic. The problem with that is that you still have the negative behaviour when you do drink....that part of the problem is still there. I suggest that you try to get him to an AA meeting....go with him. You don't have to participate, you can sit in the back and just listen. Trust me, it will be eye opening. I also think that you have to take care of yourself and think about your future in all of this. If he's not willing to get the help he needs, the problem isn't going away by itself. Only you can decide when enough is enough. I wish you luck in all of this. He can get better!!! You just need to get the help.
    Dump him babe. I put up with a drunk for 8 years and had 2 kids with him. He never changed and never will. Now it's the kids he lets down in stead of me but only because i woke up to him and kicked him into touch a long time ago.

    Don't put up with second best like i did. You are worth so much more and for God sake don't have any kids by him or you will never have him totally out of your life.

    God Bless and Good Luck.
    run my girlfriend dont stop drinking if i didnt have kids with her she be long gone she has a drink the just pissoff leaving the kids with me so run while you got a chance dont waste any more time
    He will NEVER change darling
    He can change if he wants to.

    You need to live your life for yourself not others.

    Forget trying to help your useless husband.You are wasting your time. You cannot help him,only he can help himself.

    By leaving him-you may shock him into action,but don't hold your breath.

    I was a drunk,-I only changed once I had lost everything-including my family.

    I sorted myself out, and rebuilt my life and business,
    Everyone is an individual on this, no one is the same so hard to comment on the long term? AA is a waste of time you can't blame him on that one! He may benefit with prescribed drugs? But at the end of the day HE has got to want to stop drinking and he doesn't want to! Alcoholism is a tough cookie, it's legal and widely available!

    How do I change my voter registration from one state to another?

    I'm a college student going to school in New Jersey, but I consider my permanent residence to be in Florida. I'm currently registered to vote as a New Jersey resident, since I live here 6 months of the year, but I'd like to vote in this coming election (and in future elections) as a Florida resident, where I live the other 6 months. Is there a way for me to change which state I'm registered to vote in?How do I change my voter registration from one state to another?
    When you go from 1 state to another to live, that state's DMV office is the usual place you can register; public libraries are often another place to do it. In your case, though, if you're currently in New Jersey, I would Google ';Florida State government'; and when their site comes up, go to Registrar of Voters or Secretary of State (of Florida) and you should be able to do what you want. But time's a-wastin', there is probably a cut-off period, and November 4 is only is 39 days away.

    How can i change the name of my registered gun to another person (i want to sell it)?

    I WANT TO SELL MY GUNS BUT I WANT TO KNOW HOW I CAN CHANGE THEM TO THE OTHER PERSON THAT BUYS THEMHow can i change the name of my registered gun to another person (i want to sell it)?
    call your local sherrifs office if you live in the mid west you dont have to , because privet sales are legal there, tx,ok,ks, but i would call just in case becaues gun laws change alotHow can i change the name of my registered gun to another person (i want to sell it)?
    There is no such thing as a registered Firearm!! You boght it as the original owner and 30 days after that records were disposed of, So sell it and just ask for proof of who bought it
    Different states have different laws...NJ (where I unfortunately live) is insane...you need NICS %26amp; a Purchaser's Permit to buy anything. check http://www.nraila.org/GunLaws/ ...they have lists of requirements for buying and ownsership (what guns are legal %26amp; where...etc). Depending on what state you are in, you might just want to take them to a gun dealer and have him sell them for you.
    If you live in a state that makes you register your guns, it will be the new owner's responsibility to register them. You might want to check the law in your state regarding the sale; some states require the sale to go through a dealer with a Federal Firearms License.
    I live in WA State, guns aren't registered outright but some are documented. The state licensing department has documents pertaining to face to face sales, and they also have the serial numbers of any firearm purchased if the buyer uses their concealed pistol license to get around the waiting period for pistols.

    With that said, your local licensing department may have the document you're looking for, mine does.

    It will vary from state to state, that's what this little tidbit does for each state, It is called the 10th Amendment...

    There are a couple of steps you can take -

    (1. A quick fix in your 'My Contact Details.

    (2. Change the details in your main Yahoo! Account Information.

    It's up to you as to which level of security you feel comfortable with, you should study all of your options before deciding which is best for you.

    I've also included instructions for creating Chat ID's (aliases).

    --------

    To change your display name in Messenger:

    (1. A quick fix:

    %26gt;login to Yahoo! Messenger

    %26gt;click on 'Messenger'

    %26gt;click on 'My Contact Details'

    %26gt;at the top is 'Name:'%26gt;

    %26gt;*complete all three name fields (to stop Yahoo! Messenger from accessing the details in your main Yahoo! Account Information)

    *if you only edit your Nickname nothing will change, your first and last name will be displayed from your Account Information

    *if you only edit your First Name, your Last Name will be extracted from your Account Information

    *if you only edit your Last Name, your First Name will be extracted from your Account Information

    If you change your My Contact Details within Yahoo! Messenger you must edit all 3 required fields (First, Last and Nickname) to prevent both your First and Last Names showing, or a mixed combination of them.

    Just because you can't see your First and Last Name details in Yahoo! Messenger doesn't mean other people can't.

    Add yourself to your own friends list, right click on your username in the list, select Contact Details and see what information is being sent out

    or head to Messenger %26gt; Preferences %26gt; Appearance (category) under For each contact on the messenger list show their: and select Nickname or First and Last Name, hit Apply, hit OK and recheck what your friends list displays.

    If you have accepted or sent out, requests to add to friends lists, and your First / Last Names are showing, the user will need to delete you from their Yahoo! Messenger friends list AND their address book to remove this information, you are not able to do this yourself, nor does updating your own details impact on what they already have.

    -----------

    (2. To change your name in your main Yahoo! Account Information:

    The once and for all method using My Account Info (Yahoo! Account Information)...

    By default, Yahoo! uses and accesses the First and Last Name fields completed when you signed up for your Yahoo! ID, these details are stored in your Yahoo! Account Information, if you'd like to completely kill off all references to your First and Last Name then you can edit your Yahoo! Account Information, simply head to http://edit.yahoo.com/config/eval_profil鈥?/a>

    or use any link to My Account (often visible in blue text) at the top center of most Yahoo! Services pages.

    Or directly from within Yahoo! Messenger via Messenger %26gt; My Account Information, which will open your main Yahoo! Account Information in your browser window.

    Once there...

    1.Ignore the first instance of your Names, scroll down the page until you see Address / Contact Information, click Edit...

    2. now at the top of the page should be Your Name, edit both fields

    3. hit Finished, if prompted, then confirm your password, you will be redirected back to your Yahoo! Account Information page where you can see the changes, if you're happy with the results, click Finish again, then exit out of your browser and log back into Yahoo! Messenger.

    Problem solved, now all your requests to add will contain the information you submitted in your Yahoo! Account.

    Creating an ID for Chatting

    Each person who ventures online needs an ID - a unique nickname (or alias) that allows him or her to be recognized while participating in the Internet community.

    Yahoo! Chat offers members the ability to chat under aliases, which allows them to hide their email addresses. We encourage you to use these features to protect your identity and prevent random contact with people you do not know or trust.

    -------

    You can create up to six additional aliases that you can use instead of

    your Yahoo! ID. Each alias that you create has a corresponding profile

    page that you can customize to let people know about you. Setting up

    your profile is a great way to increase your presence on the Web.

    To create/edit an alias:

    1. Click the ';Messenger'; menu in Messenger and select ';My Profiles.';

    2. Click the ';Create/Edit My Profiles'; button and follow the directions of the Yahoo! Profiles page.

    To control the online/offline presence of your aliases:

    1. Click the ';Messenger'; menu in Messenger and select ';My Profiles.';

    2. Select ';Active'; or ';Inactive.';

    Please Note: Inactive modifies the alias to appear offline.

    Further, please try the updates below:

    1. Log into Messenger.

    2. Select ';Messenger'; menu from the top of your Messenger client and

    then select ';Yahoo! Chat'; from the drop down menu.

    3. Click on ';Join a Room...'; from the available options.

    4. Select an Alias that you would like to enter the room as.

    -------

    Remember, your alias is one way that the Yahoo! online community will be able to identify you; let them wonder. You don't want strangers to know too much about you just from reading your ID.

    Online IDs can communicate something about the person behind them, so be certain of what you are willing to share. For example, the name ';Butterflyfan'; communicates that this user might be fond of butterflies. There is little risk of someone being able to distinguish one fan of butterflies from the millions of others who exist in the world. On the other hand, the name ';Butterflies4Jane'; may go too far. It provides someone with a name - both a conversation starter and a misguided sense of familiarity.

    When creating a new online ID, you may want to leave out the following personal information:

    * First and last name

    * Address

    * Phone number

    * Family names

    Whatever you choose, remember that your ID should be suitable, not too revealing, and (most important) fun.

    Using an Alias

    Use following steps to pick your alias before entering Yahoo! Chat:

  • Are you amazed at the number of people who don't know how to count back change if the cash register fails?

    I'm not the smartest person when it comes to math but at least I know how to count back change and am amazed that if the cash register breaks, the cashier has no idea how to do this task. They rely upon a calculator. What if the battery dies in that too.

    I was at the store today when this happened. The register was slow, and I asked him ';do you not know how to count back change'; , he said ';It's early in the morning';. We had another encounter, my husband had to tell him the amount of change, and another one, ';she's just started here';.

    What's your view on this subject readers??

    Am I the only one that thinks the three R's have gone by the wayside? Reading, Writing %26amp; Arithmetic.Are you amazed at the number of people who don't know how to count back change if the cash register fails?
    I agree with you that it seems that people do no know how to count change back. It is not taught in school anymore and it seems that the managers do not require it. I am a science teacher and I know that ath skills are lacking instudents. Too many people relying on a calculator.Are you amazed at the number of people who don't know how to count back change if the cash register fails?
    LOL! I work at a place that does not allow calculators or anything to count back change. Even the computer won't give me the answer! You learn quite fast how to count back change. I think all places should require people to count back change without the answer in front of them! The education people get today is terrible. Lazy f**kers!
    Yes I agree. If the cash register did not tell the change alot of businesses would be in trouble. I even seem to confuse people if the total was 15.24, I give them twenty, they ring it through, then I find 24 cents to give them and all I get back is a blank stare. Unfortunately where I live there is a shortage of workers and stores will hire anybody they can get their hands on. I guess we just have to be careful and count the change ourselves.
    It is amazing how people cant count change back however i am one of those people its sad but true i am no good at that i worked at a fast food for one year and the first three months was rough cause the machines did break down finally i got tired of not knowing it was my first job and i decided to learn how to do it before it happend again but there were some days where i just couldnt do it and i would get the paper and pen out and do it or i would do it in my head after about three months of working i was able to do it pretty fast and when i couldnt do it in my head and we were to busy i had to remember how much change to give back. But i also realized that not just math is what is so important in the job its also being kind to customers who get angry and upset when you dont give them the change back correctly and just being polite in general to them. Thats what your paid for right ?? But since i am the customer and when something like that happens i just know that the other person behind the counter is embarrased by it and will figure it out soon like i did and i dont worry about it as long as the person behind the counter is polite to me thats all that matters it doesnt matter if the person cant count change back or not we all have our faults here and there.
