I think you will do great at Dunkin Donuts even with a learning disability. Most registers are designed to provide you with the amount that you need to give back to the customer, therefore you don't have to let your boss know that you have a disability. I have found that people treat people with disabilities different even if they don't want to. This is something that you don't want the customer to see if the manger treats you different. It could cause the customer to teat you different and you will personally feel that. I am sure you don't want people treating you like you are special therefore don't give them a reason to do so. By the way you could work at any restaurant or store as a cashier with a register.Working at dunkin donuts will i have to learn how to give back change?
Nearly every cash register these days will tell you how much change to give back - providing that you input the amount tendered correctly.

You will need to be able to determine the coins and dollars needed to make up the amount - but the amount will be clearly displayed.

Be honest with your manager about your disability and you should be fine.
Let me teach you something that any 8 year old can learn - start with the price and add change until you get to the amount the customer gave you.

IOW, if it's $3.18 and the customer gave you a $5 bill, add 2 pennies and you have $3.20. Add a nickel and you have $3.25. Add 3 quarters and you have $4. Add a dollar and you have $5. You're holding $1.82 - that's the change. Just count up starting with the price - it works every time.

When you buy something, try it with your own change, and you'll see how easy it is.
Don't worry, almost every cash register will tell you how much change to give back. After a few days, you probably won't even need the register to tell you.

The most important thing you need for this job is wanting to be the best each and every day you come to work.
If you are honest with you manager, they might have other tasks that you can do and may even supervise you if you handle the register for a while, until you learn. Do a good job with a good attitude and the boss will work with you.
